    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare regarding the crisis caused by corruption and nepotism allegations at the Kenya Academy of Sports (KAS), an institution that is vital to the development of sports in the country. In the statement, the committee should- (1) Disclose the current affairs of the Kenya Academy of Sports (KAS), particularly in light of recent allegations of corruption and nepotism attributed to the leadership of the academy in contravention of the provisions of Article 73(2) of the Constitution.
