Temporary Chairman: I beg to move: That, Clause 4 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (f) (fa) protecting vulnerable groups including women, children, persons with disabilities and older persons of the society.” This amendment seeks to ensure the protection of vulnerable groups, including women, children, persons with disabilities, and older persons of society, when we are having a national disaster. It is good that this Bill is coming at a time when we are dealing with floods. Women, children and persons with disabilities are really suffering because of flooding. Special attention should be given to them during such a time."
