Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 14 of the Bill be amended in subclause (2) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (f)— (g) is serving as a member of another Board Clause14 provides for the qualification of appointments as a chairperson under Section 13(1)(a), and it provides for the qualifications. I am proposing that a person should not be a member of the Board if the person is already serving in another Board. The reason is that we have noticed there are people who serve in two or more boards and yet, there are many Kenyans who would be happy to serve. Even the President is having a challenge with such people. Please, if you could just accommodate that. Thank you."
