    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. This is a request on the implementation of the digital literacy programme by the Ministry of Education. I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Information, Communication and Technology regarding the implementation of the digital literacy programme by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Table a status report on the implementation of the digital literacy programme in the country; (2) State which counties have benefited from the enhanced school infrastructure through the provision of broadband connectivity devices and power connection; (3) Explain the criteria used to select the counties that benefited from the programme; and, (4) State the total cost for the implementation of the project so far."
