I want to assure him that we want to do a very thorough job in terms of ascertaining the assets and debts of these two local authorities and, indeed, for all other local authorities. I want to assure him that in the process, we will make sure that what is rightfully due to either local authority is properly accounted for, so that this crippling debt can be mitigated."
