    "content": "I rise again pursuant to Standing Order No. 53(1) to seek a statement from the Standing Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources regarding the status of public land belonging to the County Government of Bungoma. In the statement, the committee should: (a) Provide details on the acreage and location of all parcels of land belonging to the County Government of Bungoma accompanied by the corresponding legal documentation that proves ownership. (b) Clarify whether the said parcels of land are being utilised effectively and for the designated purpose and if not, state any plans to utilise them to the benefit of the residence of Bungoma County. (c) Table the report of the task force set up to identify grabbed land in the county by the then Governor of Bungoma County in 2019 and provide a status update on the implementation of its recommendation. (d) Outline steps taken by the County Government to reclaim all public land held by individuals. (e) Outline any measures put in place to ensure adherence to the local physical and land use development plan in all public centres in the county.
