"content": "Kenyans, just like other citizens of the world, are concerned about proliferation of unwanted commercial solicitations and other junk mail. The Government is implementing a raft of internationally-accepted best practices and multi-jurisdictional approaches in dealing with the problem. This includes, but not limited to the following: legislation and regulation â the Government will ensure that the privacy rights are protected through the passage of the Data Protection Bill that will lay down penalties for misuse of personal information collected in Kenya."
