"content": "We are seeing the making of a dysfunctional Government. That is what I have to say first. As students of history, we are told that it repeats itself—first as a farce and secondly as a tragedy. You will recall what happened in this country in 1989 or thereabout when the then Vice- President, Dr Josephat Njuguna Karanja, was hounded out of office on account of becoming too big and making fellow leaders kneel before him. He became a kneel-before-me Vice-President. At one point, he purported to be the Acting President when President Moi was still around. I do not want to say who was right or wrong. Likewise, I do not want to say who is right or wrong in the present instance because I do not belong to Kenya Kwanza. Let me say that the Kenya Kwanza Government has a duty to govern. It also owes Kenyans a duty to give them a functional Government. Anything that can create dysfunction in Government must be sorted out as quickly as possible. A hyena starts saying that her children smell like goats when it wants to eat them. I do not know who the hyena or the goat is here. Something is definitely not working. From where we sit as Azimio Members, we see the marriage is not working. The logical thing to do is to separate or marry another wife if a marriage is not working."
