    "content": "What will the interns be entitled to? They will be entitled to paternity and maternity leave. When I was making my submission to the Departmental Committee on Labour, they told me that young men do not require paternity leave because they have just come to work. That is the mentality I want us to change and give interns the same dignity that other Kenyans have. Secondly, is subsistence allowance as may be determined by the Cabinet Secretary from time to time. Within their regulations, they can consider how much the interns need to be paid, but the allowance must be there. This will enable them to deliver their mandate in their respective institutions."
