    "content": "Hon. Temporary Speaker, regarding the stipend that is paid to interns, a policy framework should be developed once this law is put in place, to guide the minimum they should be paid. This will stop exploitation by the institutions that offer them placements. Once the 12-months internship expires, there should be transition so that they do not go back to the villages. Those interns should automatically be absorbed by the institutions that they have been working for. Lastly, we should have a policy in place which will help them transition into full-time employment. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. With that, I support this Bill."
