    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for allowing me to add my voice to this Bill. I reject the 2024/2025 Finance Bill. The picketing and protesting that people are doing on the streets of my constituency is because this Bill did not undergo due public participation. That is why the Committee should listen to the people again and return the Bill to them. We reject this Bill and ask that it be withdrawn and returned to the people. These people are the taxpayers and they should be heard. The Government should not pretend they are doing Kenyans any favours by introducing these amendments. These amendments were not in the Finance Bill, 2023. You are not doing the people of Kenya any favour. We ask the people in the Government to listen to the common mwananchi . I have done so. That is why I reject this Bill. I have also listened to my side of the House, Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition, which has the most professors who can never be wrong on this Finance Bill. I reject it. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
