    "content": "Hon. Speaker, we may say we will impose tax on imported table eggs only. However, how will you distinguish between those eggs you are using to hatch and the ones to be eaten on the table? Do we have the machinery to confirm it? There is no empirical data. This is where the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning failed this House. Do we have data on the number of eggs that are imported against the numbers produced locally that are in our market? Once we increase the price for imported eggs, my fear is that when you go to the shop, you will not distinguish them."
