I must say that the Finance Bill, as it was originally prepared by the National Treasury, was a Bill that I was prepared to vote ‘no’ on several clauses. However, the Finance Committee has listened to stakeholders and has come up with a raft of proposals that are recommending to amend the Finance Bill. Hon. Temporary Speaker, there are quite several areas that are directly important to my constituents.
