    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Like all my colleagues, I have also received messages from my constituents telling me to reject this Bill. At the outset, I reject the Bill because it carries a lot of things which are not affordable to ordinary Kenyans. However, I can see that the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning conducted public participation. Many industries gave their views. There are amendments that were suggested and some of them are positive. We cannot shut our eyes on this issue.
