Members that my constituency churns a lot of money to the National Treasury but it only sees development in the neighbourhood. My constituents did not know why there was no development in their region until the Deputy President carelessly asserted that this country is led through shareholding. It happens that my constituents are not shareholders. They see elaborate electrification programmes in the neighbourhood. We are at the epicentre of different constituencies. The county government roads are being tarmacked in the neighbourhood. Every year, the constituency is affected by challenges like marauding floods.
