"content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. The point I was making is that the leadership of the House is to put the interest of the country ahead of personal or party interest. We have a bloated Government. I conclude by urging my colleagues to reconsider an audit of the 2010 Constitution. We have so many constitutional commissions with people serving part-time, but doing nothing. How can a body that reviews my salary once a year be working from Monday to Friday? That you sit to review the salary of Sen. Omogeni from January to December, Monday to Friday. How can that be? Then after you have reviewed that for the whole year, you tell me I have reviewed you with Kshs14,000, which I do not want. I am rejecting that offer. We must audit this Constitution. Some of jobs of these people who are earning huge amount of salary be converted them to part-time. That is what the Generation Z want us to do. If you go to the Judiciary, we cannot afford employing judges, right, left and centre. It is not easy to maintain a judge. When you employ a judge, you must give them a car and pay them house allowance. We have a judge here and he will tell you that it is not easy. The other day, a Motion was taken to the National Assembly. It never came to us. The number of judges of Court of Appeal was increased to 70. We have special courts on land and environment, which can employ up to 100. Mr. Speaker, Sir, you are a lawyer. A judge was posted to Kilgoris to deal with land matters, stayed there for three months and then left because there were no cases. Senator for Vihiga County, a judge was sent to your county. Her name is Esther and she is a Kisii. After six months she went away, there are no cases. Another one went to Malindi County and after staying there for seven months, there were no more cases.
