    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to support this Motion, hoping that we will bring amendments so that all the good things that Members are talking about here are also captured in that Motion. I want to start by sending my condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives. There are over 30 people. We hope the exact number is going to be provided. I also want to express my sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives within the precincts of Parliament. Parliament should be cleansed because the blood of innocent Kenyans is within the precincts of Parliament. I hope those of us who believe in prayers will have prayers to cleanse Parliament, so that we continue as a holy, sacred and respected institution. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank the Senate leadership led by you and the Senate Minority and Majority Leaders for this opportunity. As we reflect on what is happening in our nation, Members of the House that caused all these problems are hiding. Many of them are hiding from the people and do not want to be seen in public because they know what they did was not right. The Senate has taken up the challenge of being a House of reason to discuss these issues freely. What we debate should not just end here. We should have a system of ensuring that whatever we talk about here is implemented. That should be the main challenge as we debate this particular Motion. What strategies are we going to employ to ensure that the many good things we have discussed are implemented?
