    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker. I also want to thank the Cabinet Secretary for finding time to appear before the Senate to make clarifications on some of the issues. I have a supplementary question on the usage of Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLOCCA) money, which is used to finance locally-led climate action. The Cabinet Secretary has mentioned to us that the Government through her Ministry has put in place governance structures to ensure that this money is utilized and used for its intended purposes. I interpret that to mean that you will assist the Senate to ensure that that money does not find its way into the pockets of those tasked with implementation. I want to disclose that my County of Nyamira is one of the recipients of this money. We received Kshs55 million. My question touches on governance, accountability and the proper utilization of the FLLOCCA money. We had a project initiated called Raitigo Water Supply during the Financial Year 2015/2016. The county budgeted Kshs17,310,915. The project was done and money was paid to the contractor. I have details of the contractor who did the work. The Office of the Auditor General raised issues on that project having been used to syphon money from the county and there was The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
