"content": " Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, unfortunately, I may not meet the expectations of the Senior Counsel and hon. Senator because the Government of Kenya holds a significant stake in KQ. That is approximately 48.9 per cent of the shares. The Government of Kenya is represented on the Board of KQ through the National Treasury and the Ministry of Roads and Transport. However, operational matters, including those related to protection and welfare of staff, are primarily the responsibility of the KQ itself. These operational issues are typically addressed and managed by the management and leadership of KQ. The KQ is not really a parastatal per se where we have proper access to all the information. I do not want to commit myself to answers that they will write to me. The Ministry suggests that we invite KQ as an organisation to take responsibility. That can be done preferably by a committee, so that these issues are dealt with comprehensively. I thank you."
