Taxable services imported or locally purchased by a company which is incorporated for purposes of undertaking the manufacture of human vaccines and whose capital investment is at least ten billion shillings, subject to approval of the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury, on recommendation of the Cabinet Secretary for health. (xvi)in subparagraph (ix) by inserting the following new proviso- Provided that this paragraph shall only apply where the business is owned by a company in which— (a)the government owns more than fifty one percent of the total shares of the company; or (b)the government and the members of the public combined own more than fifty one percent of the total shares of the company, subject to approval of the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury."
