    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) From December, 2008, when the first case was detected, 31 districts have been affected, and in 20 districts the disease has been contained. About 3,946 cumulative suspected cases have been reported. There have been only 200 laboratory confirmed cases. Out of these, 89 deaths have occurred among those suspected and confirmed cases since December, 2008. Currently, there are outbreaks of diarrheal diseases in 11 districts. I say diarrheal diseases because it is not all of them that are cholera cases. (b) My Ministry, in collaboration with other stakeholders in the health sector, has initiated the following steps to control and stop further spread of the disease:- (i) Issued cholera alerts to all the health workers across the country;"
