    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, with regard to Malindi, I wish to state that it is unfortunate and we regret that this fire has caused a lot of damage to a major investment in Malindi. At the moment, I want to acknowledge that Malindi and several other local authorities are not well equipped to deal with the problem of emergencies such as fires. Indeed, we have made some requisition with the Treasury to be supported in the next financial year, so that we can acquire more vehicles that can be given to areas like Malindi and other towns, so that they can help in dealing with emergencies. So, when that issue comes up for debate, I hope we shall get the support of the House, so that we be allocated those resources to achieve our objective."
