"content": "exclusively vested in the High Court to unilaterally determine which title deeds are valid and which ones are not. Further, the petitioners pray that this honourable House seeks an assurance from the Minister for Forestry and Wildlife that the Government shall not evict the legal occupiers of the cited places, under the Cited Legal Notices Nos.142, 148 and 153 of 2001, without the regard of the due process encapsulated under the Constitution and the various laws of Kenya. That, this honourable House seeks an assurance from the Government of the Republic of Kenya that regardless of the findings of the Taskforce appointed by the Prime Minister, due process shall be followed in its implementation. Further, the petitioners pray that this honourable House directs that the Government of Kenya, in line with its oath of office, demonstrates its respect to the rule of law by ensuring that every manner of eviction around our place of residence be stopped, pending the final and exclusive determination of the ongoing cases. Finally, that, this honourable House gives such other directions and relief to address and redress the petitionersâ grievances as it deems fit.â Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I do not know where to take the other signatures, but these will suffice for today."
