The vehicles in question belong to the Githunguri Dairy Farmers Cooperative Society. They were collecting and delivering milk to the Plant. The police arrested the first vehicle at 6.00 a.m. and it was released at 11.00 a.m. on my personal intervention. Is it in order for the Assistant Minister to mislead this House that the police were doing this in pursuit of the law when they arrested and detained vehicles carrying fresh perishable produce?
