Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 30 of the Bill be amended— (a) by deleting the opening statement in subclause (1) and substituting therefor the following new opening statement— (1) Where a person who receives compliance notice under section 29 fails to comply with such notice, the Board may— (b) by deleting subclause (2) and substituting therefor the following new subclause— (2) For purposes of this Act, a revocation of licence takes effect on the date on which the licence is revoked by the board. We are still discussing licensing under Clause 30. We did also correct the referencing and looked further into the responsibilities of the board on licensing and revocation of such licenses. We also did improve on the consistency on the marginal notes. It is the board that is responsible to revoke a license and not the county executive committee member (CECM). We did correct that anomaly as well."
