Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 35 of the Bill be amended— (a) in subclause (1) by deleting the opening statement and substituting therefor the following new opening statement— “(1) The board may revoke a licence issued or renewed under this Act if the licensee—” (b) in sub-clause (2) by deleting the opening statement and substituting therefor the following new opening statement— “(2) The board may revoke a licence issued under subsection (1) unless the board—”. We looked at Clause 35 and the Committee provided for issuance of renewal of licenses as provided in the Act, and not just under Section 32. We also bestowed the responsibility of licensing to the board and not the county executive committee."
