"content": "Article 181 is clear. It tells us how to remove a governor and deputy governor from office. I will give you an example of Marsabit. We do not have Njuri Ncheke in Marsabit. What will happen if the MCAs want to impeach the governor? Are they going to ask the Meru Njuri Ncheke to come and help us there? No, it is not possible. If the issue being raised has some criminality like wastage of funds and resources and misappropriation of money, that goes against Article 6 of the Constitution. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I thank the Njuri Ncheke for referring back that issue to the courts and we are waiting for Gov. Kawira Mwangaza here before the Senate. We are ready and waiting for her to come here. It is important for us to look at the law. This Constitution 2010 is one of the best constitutions that any country can have, especially African countries. Let us not ignore this Constitution and follow traditional ways to solve official issues."
