"content": "This is part of what we were discussing a few minutes ago. Sometimes our judges also choose to be mechanical. They just ask for a title deed from that public institution. Despite the fact that there could be letters of allocation and minutes of the council’s meeting that provided the setting aside of that parcel of land for public use; many times in the absence of a title deed, public institutions have lost land to fraudsters. That is what we are seeking to address in this Bill. Currently, public land and land set aside for public purposes by land-buying companies continue to be grabbed by private persons because there are no certificates of title deed issued for that land. Therefore, this Bill seeks to provide for the registration of public land.
