    "content": "It is against this background that I request for a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security on the following: 1. The circumstances that led to the abduction of four persons from Garissa Town and the identity of the abductors; 2. Place where the four missing persons are being held and the status of investigations into their respective cases, if any; and, 3. The measures that the Government has put in place to ensure that counter- terrorism initiatives are carried out in strict compliance with the law and international human rights standards. It is important to note that His Excellency President William Ruto has stated on numerous occasions that the era of abductions is long gone."
