    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Cancer is a serious killer in Meru. As an agricultural community, the high level of chemicals in potato growing areas is very concerning. The Ministry of Health in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development should be at the forefront in determining the type of chemicals that should be applied in our farms. Those harmful chemicals not only cause cancer, but also contribute to other illnesses in our communities. In areas with high usage of those chemicals, there is a heightened risk of miscarriages. Furthermore, the prevalence of cancers, such as throat cancer, is closely linked to the use of those chemicals. Therefore, I strongly advocate for the ban of Bayer chemicals from the market."
