    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. I rise to support the Division of Revenue (Amendment) Bill. This very important Bill appropriates revenue across the two levels of government as per the Constitution. The Constitution is very clear on how to share revenue between the two levels of government, or what we call the equitable share. I thank the Chair and the Members of the Budget and Appropriations Committee for sitting down now to come up with Supplementary Appropriations Bill No.1. Essentially, Supplementary Appropriations Bill No.1 is the Appropriations Bill we lost due to the cancellation of the Finance Bill of 2024. The Chair and Members of the Budget and Appropriations Committee went through it to ensure they legalise, through this Division of Revenue (Amendment) Bill, what fell with the dropping the Finance Bill of 2024.
