I am glad that a man who has been forced to act for five years is finally getting the job. I believe, had he not been acting, the crisis that the country went through in terms of the strike by medical workers, maybe it would have been averted or solved faster. Dr. Amoth is not only a medical specialist, but he has also undergone training in Israel on management of health management systems. This kind of training is just what we need if we will build a proper policy that is currently lacking in the devolved structure of managing health. In the interest of time, may I use this last minute to reply and beg that the putting of the question be deferred to another date under the Standing Order No.66(3)."
