    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I was just highlighting some elements of the Bill that are very important. I would then ask my friend to second it for me after moving. The current state of affairs is that the wages that the teachers in the early childhood section of our counties are earning is enough to take care of their lifestyle. There is need to consider things like inflation, minimum wage, cost of living and even developing a robust scheme of service, where the teachers can develop their career and move just like their colleagues who are in the higher levels of education. This is a very straightforward Bill that will change the life of teachers in our counties. I wish to move that the Early Childhood Education (Amendment) Bill (Senate Bills No.54 of 2023), be now read a Second Time. I wish to request my colleague, the wonderful Senator of Narok, Sen. Olekina, to second."
