    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I do not know what the excitement is about. I stand to oppose the Motion on the appointment of a select committee to handle the impeachment of the Governor of Meru County for good reason. The Senate does not exist in a vacuum. We live in a society. We have ears that listen and hear what the people are saying, and see what is happening. The impeachment Motion of the Governor of Meru County has attracted immense interest beyond Meru and the Eastern region. It would be better that everybody gets to see the proceedings on the floor of the Senate. As this happens, I want to borrow from the case of O.J. Simpson. The jury said, if the gloves do not fit, acquit. If the gloves fit, you convict. Guided by the evidence and facts that shall be brought on the Plenary, that decision will be made. I vote for the plenary way."
