I want to congratulate the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance for a very brave and people-focused Budget. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I wish to lend the same voice with the Minister in noting and acknowledging the effects of the international financial crisis in developing countries. It is, indeed, important that the Minister has acknowledged the need to plan for the effects that it will have in our country because failure to plan is planning to fail."
