From the point of view of national cohesion, integration, and equal opportunity, I now see some good light at the end of the tunnel. This is where we need to go. Kenyans are Kenyans regardless of the corner they come from. From an ASAL point of view, this will be a role model for all ASAL areas where our women are struggling to ensure they are included in leadership. So if she has done it, why not the others?
