"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. That is well noted, but I heard that we have a Broad-Based Government. It is good that we stick to that. I take this opportunity to thank the President for nominating these distinguished ladies. A lot has been said about Dr Oduor. We thank the President for trusting her. Hopefully, this will be a historic moment. The reason I stood was because of Ms Beatrice Asukul, a fellow lady from a marginalised community. She probably went to school without shoes and schooled under a tree, just like many of us. We thank the President for trusting and nominating her to the Ministry of East African Community (EAC) and Regional Development.
