Pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order 44(2)(c), I wish to request for a statement from the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Affairs, regarding the ongoing abductions and extrajudicial killings allegedly by police officers and especially during the just concluded Gen Z demonstrations. Article 37 of the Constitution provides that every citizen has a right to assemble and demonstrate peacefully.
