Pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order 44(2)(c), I wish to request for a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Health regarding the recent outbreak of Mpox in East and Central Africa. The Ministry of Health recently confirmed the country's first Mpox case, an infectious disease commonly known as Monkey Pox.
