(b) I wish to inform the hon. Member that I have written to the Treasury seeking financial support for these students since the sponsor has indicated inability to continue with their commitment. Secondly, 65 of the said students have now been offered places in our local universities under the Joint Admissions Board. They, therefore, have an option to come back here and take up those places.
