    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would also like to ask the Minister to look at the taxation, especially personal tax. I still think that Kenya is one of the highest tax paying countries in the world. At the moment, the highest personal taxation is 30 per cent. This is by all means very high. Because of this, many people are doing everything possible to evade paying taxes whereas if the taxes were reduced to, say, 20 per cent, the bracket for compliance would be much higher than what it is at the moment. I support the Minister fully on the issue of the big vehicles that Ministers and Assistant Ministers are using."
