The global economy is facing the worst recession ever since the Great Depression, a phenomenon that is adversely affecting the economies of developing countries, Kenya included. Industrial countries have taken huge supportive interventions to mitigate the effects of the global financial crisis, but the impact is yet to be felt, thus leaving the developing countries exposed and vulnerable."
