    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for also allowing me to contribute to this Motion with regards to the new appointment of our IG of the National Police Service (NPS). My contribution will be very brief and to the point. I am standing here extremely hurt and disappointed because of how Kenya has been portrayed due to the sufferings, killings and pain we have seen over the past two months. Two years ago, we sat here, vetted and approved the former IG who unfortunately has become one of the most disappointing appointees that Kenya has seen in the NPS. I say that honestly and sincerely. With this new IG appointment and vetting that has been done by the joint committees, I do not think that 39 years of a career will do it for me. I do not think that a Curriculum Vitae (CV) really tells what somebody is, his or her morals and what they intend to do once they get into a position."
