We have polarised this country and we continue to polarise it. Which other organ of Government other than Parliament and parliamentarians has the unique responsibility to reconcile this country? How can you reconcile, if you do not understand the challenges of your neighbour? How do you reconcile if you do not understand how people in North Eastern Province live and the circumstances in which they live? How do you reconcile this country, if you do not understand the circumstances of the people in Coast Province, Eastern Province or any other province in this country, if by virtue of being a Member of this House, you qualify to become a national leader?"
