"content": "kind of country that we are to become Members of Parliament for? What would prevent us from having exchange programmes where Members of Parliament will be required to spend three months during the recess in Tigania West Constituency, for example, and have Mr. Affey spend some time in Meru and learn about the Meru people? Hon. Wamalwa could spend some time in some place in Garissa for three months? Exchanges are also possible. That is done in schools, universities and it is one way of also getting Members to be more nationalistic in terms of having the opportunity while they are here, to spend some time in different parts of the country. What is to prevent us from ensuring that we have lectures and readings? We have a library, but sometimes, most of the people you see using our library are even wazees like hon. ole Ntimama and you get very impressed. If we really wanted to learn about this country, there are enough facilities. We have a visible library with books and the internet. It is not for lack of opportunities for us to know about this country. Money has been spent and that is why we are now going to have Research Assistants and we have all these facilities. So, let us take advantage. Why can we not, in the meanwhile---"
