"content": " I am holding brief for the Leader of the Majority Party for the usual Thursday Statement. Hon. Speaker, pursuant to the provision of Standing Order No.42(2)(a), I rise to give the following Statement on behalf of the House Business Committee, which met on Tuesday, 24th September 2024, to prioritise business for consideration during the week. With regard to the business for Tuesday, next week, the House is expected to consider the following Bills, if not concluded today: Committee of the whole House consideration of the Senate amendments to the Food and Feed Safety Control Co-ordination Bill, 2023; and consideration of the Senate amendments to the Statutory Instruments (Amendment) Bill, 2023. Hon. Speaker, we will be having the Second Reading of the following Bills, if they will not be concluded today: The Technopolis Bill, 2024; the Kenya National Library Service Bill, 2023; and the Equalisation Fund (Administration) Bill 2023 (Senate Bill No.14 of 2023). Additionally, debate will also be undertaken on the following Motions, should they not be concluded today: The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor."
