    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a statement from the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare regarding the provision of conducive and easily accessible lactating rooms for breastfeeding mothers in workplaces in Kenya. In the statement, the committee should: (1) State whether offices in the public service and other workplaces have allocated conducive lactating rooms in proximity to work stations to enable breastfeeding mothers to attend to their duties. (2) Outline any actions the Ministry of Public Service and Human Capital Development has put in place to ensure that all breastfeeding mothers are provided with a conducive work environment as provided for in Section 71(1) and 2 of the Health Act, 2017.
