    "content": " Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Question No.060 is by the Nominated Senator, Sen. Mumma. My response to Question No.060 (a) is as follows- In the original approved development budget for Financial Year 2022/2023, we had an amount of Kshs715.4 billion. Out of this, Kshs389.2 billion was to be funded through ordinary revenue, Kshs292.8 billion was to be funded through loans and Kshs33.3 billion was through grants. However, the estimates were revised a number of times during the implementation of the budget, maybe thrice, if I am not wrong. We had several supplementary budgets and the final approved development estimates amounted to Kshs583.2 billion. This comprised of Kshs357.9 billion funded through ordinary revenue, Kshs190.5 billion funded through loans and Kshs34.7 billion was funded through grants.
