"content": "Interim Independent Electoral Commission (IIEC) and the Members of the Commission in his office. Between 11.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon, on 8th June, 2009, he held a meeting with top of officials from the Ministry of Agriculture where they discussed the implementation of the Extended Sugar Safeguard Measures. At 4.40 p.m., he departed for Cape Town, South Africa, leading the Kenyan delegation to the World Economic Forum. On 9th June 2009, between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m., he held several bilateral meetings with Heads of States attending the World Economic Forum. At the point of departure; the specifics had not been confirmed by the High Commissioner. Between 4.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m., he had private meetings. On 9th June, 2009, between 6.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m., he had a meeting with Kenyans in the Diaspora. Between 8.00 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., he had dinner with the President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). On 10th June, 2009, which is today, he is attending a meeting on investing in Africa. Between 11 a.m. and 12 a.m., he is scheduled to also have discussions related to deepening of Public and Private Collaboration to Accelerate Growth in African Agriculture. Between 12.30 p.m. and 1.00 p.m., he has a meeting with Mr. Marcus Agius, Chairman of Barclays Bank. Between 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m., there was lunch with Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi Okonji-Iwala, Managing Director of the World Bank. Between 2.10 p.m. and 2.40 p.m., there is a meeting with Ulla Tornaes, Minister for Development Co-operation, Denmark. Between 3.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., there will be a discussion on the investment climate and a better way of doing business. Also scheduled, between 5.30 p.m. and 6.00 p.m., is a meeting with Mr. Andrew Schneider, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum. Between 6.30 p.m. and 6.50 p.m., the Prime Minister is scheduled to have a Press Conference on Business Alliance against Chronic Hunger. On 11th June, 2009, at 5.45 a.m., he will be returning from South Africa. At 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., there is a Cabinet Meeting scheduled which he will attend. Thereafter in the afternoon, between 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., there will be the Budget Speech presentation in Parliament and he will attend. On 12th June, 2009, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the launch of the fiber optic cable in Mombasa. In case the Member is not satisfied, he will get additional information from the Right hon. Prime Minister when he comes back."
