    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. The Competition Authority must create a fair playground for all businesspeople in Kenya. That is the man who will put in order the monopolies that are in business. Look at the milk industry. Milk production and its value chain are skewed towards one competitor who works very hard to kill the other industries, including the New Kenya Co- operative Creameries (KCC). Milk production and its value chain, together with milk processors, requires order so that the businesspeople on the ground – the people who keep cows and produce milk – get value for money for their milk. A lot in this country needs to be regulated so that there is fair competition, and so that people who want to build the economy such as young economists can do so. There is need for order in the digital economy, so that everyone has space to play in growing the economy of Kenya. I support the appointment of David Kibet as the Director-General of the Competition Authority of Kenya."
